Basys is “software for healthcare pre-authorization”. Started in 2022 by healthtech veterans Amber Nigam & Jie Sun, the duo met at Harvard’s data science program and incubated the company out of Harvard’s iLab. These entrepreneurs are on a mission to help drive scalable impact by stripping out some of the massive inefficiency in our healthcare system using artificial intelligence.
CloudZero is “software for cloud infrastructure costs.” The company was founded in 2016 by Matt Manger and Erik Peterson. Matt and Erik are two experienced technical leaders who met at Veracode and had personally dealt with the pain of managing infrastructure costs across multiple clouds, dashboards, and functions.
Whether it’s his affinity for competition, brotherly love, or solving puzzles, Mark Hardy has always been destined for the camaraderie of a startup. Having transitioned from growth equity investing to the world of early-stage companies, Mark currently serves as the Director of Revenue Operations at Black Kite, a high-growth cybersecurity startup headquartered in Boston. Black Kite offers the premiere third-party risk intelligence platform, and Mark works alongside the sales, marketing and customer success teams to create more cohesive go-to-market strategies for the company.

EKOS.ai is an “all in one engagement platform for hybrid communities” founded by Melis Dural in 2020. To understand EKOS is to understand Melis. She’s originally from Turkey, traveled to Switzerland for high school, and came to the U.S. when she was 18 to attend Northeastern. She went on to complete her MBA at Babson. To communicate with friends, family, and colleagues she’s pretty much been remote the entirety of her adult life.
Jasmine Pogue has been through a storm or two on a path to establishing herself as a revenue leader and future executive leader determined to make it to the top no matter the obstacle. She’s been around the world on a career journey from retail to telecom to SaaS and is just getting started. Wonderment is “post purchase e-commerce software for retailers”. Founded in 2020, Wonderment was created by two former Hubspot colleagues who were independently exploring building something in the e-commerce space before they decided to come together. Brian Whalley & Jessica Meher were soon joined by Wesley Abbey on the engineering side of the house with a mission to help build a better post purchase experience for e-commerce retailers.
As the Chief of Staff at late stage marketplace technology company Mirakl, it makes perfect sense that Amelia Van Camp was born in Commerce, Michigan. CareAcademy is “training & up-skilling software for caregivers”. Founded by Helen Adeosun in 2016, Helen moved to Boston from Georgia to attend the Harvard Graduate School of Education. There, she took a class called Development Ventures as part of a cross-registration between MIT & Harvard graduate students. The focus of the class was to come up with businesses which had social impact. Helen proposed a concept for upskilling care workers that was well received and, just a year later, her entrepreneurial journey began. Two years later, she was focused on the business full time.
