They’re delivering high-value content at massive scale, like software updates for millions of cars or streaming major sporting events.
🔍 What happened at EdgeBeam in 2025? 🔎
Conrad joined the EdgeBeam Wireless team in June 2025 when it was a one-person company.
Six months later? The team has grown to 18 people, they’ve secured headquarters in the Seaport, and they’ve landed their first customer.
The core leadership team is in place – a CTO, Chief Product Officer, Head of GPS & Professional Services, and Director of Marketing.
From both a technology and go-to-market standpoint, they’ve got a plan to launch their Hybrid Network Operator platform in 2026.

Ask any EdgeBeam employee what matters most right now and they’ll tell you: “Launch!”
The first half of 2026 is about getting the product, platform, and network management system live.
The 2H of 2026 is all about hiring and growth.
For a startup barely a year old, that’s pretty good and the right playbook!
🤔 What has Conrad learned from six startups? 🤔
This is Conrad’s fourth company from 0-1.
His advice to entrepreneurs is to quit your day job first. Nothing motivates like needing to pay your mortgage (or other bills).
Second, remember that every “no” is just a long path to “yes”. A hundred people will tell you your idea is bad but, if it’s great, stick with it.
Third, the team comes before technology and markets. Focus on culture. Make it fun. At EdgeBeam it’s much less of a job and more of an adventure.
